How long is the COMPASS placement test?
Answer
You should allow at least 45 minutes for each part of the test you are taking (English, Reading, and/or Math). You should plan for at least two (2) hours if you are taking all three (3) parts of the COMPASS test (English, Reading, and Math). Allow additional time if you are completing ESL testing.

The COMPASS test is, however, untimed and this is just a general estimate for how long students generally take on the test.
